Abstract:Uvod: Stil vodenja je način, kako vodja vodi svoje podrejene sodelavce. Uporabili smo tehniko anketiranja. Za instrument smo uporabili vprašalnik multifaktorskega vodenja – MQL. Vključili smo 118 fizioterapevtov v primarnih javnih zdravstvenih zavodih. Podatke smo zbrali in obdelali s programom Microsoft Office Excel in SPSS. Rezultati: V raziskavi smo si zastavili štiri hipoteze.

Title:Leadership styles in physiotherapy at primary public health institutions
Abstract:Introduction: Leadership style is the way a leader leads his subordinates. The goal of every organization is to focus on the style of leadership that allows employees to achieve the best results while being personally satisfiedn. Methods: The research is based on a quantitative research method, a description method. We used a survey technique. For the instrument, we used a multifactor control questionnaire - MQL. We included 118 physiotherapists in primary public health facilities. Data were collected and processed using Microsoft Office Excel and SPSS. Results: In the research, we set ourselves four hypotheses. To test the first hypothesis, we performed basic statistics, finding that a transformational leadership style predominates. To test the other three hypotheses, we used the Pearson’s correlation coefficient, rejecting two hypotheses and finding that gender and level of education did not influence the choice of transformational leadership style, and confirmed one hypothesis and found that age influences the choice of transformational leadership style. Discussion and conclusion: Management style affects employee satisfaction and the efficiency of the institution. Different situations require different ways of leading managers. Managers need to make timely decisions about style and changes in management style. Satisfied employees are more efficient at work, as a result of which the organization has a good climate and the success of the institution is greater.
