Abstract:V času pandemije koronavirusa so se trgovska podjetja soočala s spremenjenimi pogoji poslovanja. Zaradi vladnih ukrepov in omejitev so številna podjetja iskala nove načine prodaje. Nekateri živilski trgovci so priložnost našli v segmentu spletne prodaje.

Title:Tackling Challenges of the Coronacrisis in a Trading Company With an Online Store
Abstract:During the coronavirus pandemic, trading companies faced changing business conditions. The government measures and restrictions forced many companies to find new ways to sell their products and services. Some food retailers discovered an opportunity in the online sales segment. In this thesis, we present the effect of the coronavirus pandemic on the operations of selected trading companies. We also present online stores as a reaction to the changes in the market. In the first part, we analyze a retail store and an online store and link them to investment, logistics and advertising. We show the influences of the pandemic on operations and trends in retail during the pandemic. We also present the theoretical starting points of investments and decision-making process for setting up an online store. In the applicative part, we describe the process of launching and expanding an online store in the company Engrotuš d.o.o. We compare the company with its main competitors and the industry in which it operates. We also present the operation of the online supermarket www.hitrinakup.com. We also show the casual relationship between the online purchase demand and the severity of measures against the coronavirus. The conclusion shows the business challenges of the pandemic using the selected company as an example and proves the success of the investment in online store.
