Abstract:Magistrska naloga obravnava optimizacijo nosilne konstrukcije enoladijske hale. Pri optimiziranju smo obravnavali dva ločena sistema nosilne konstrukcije, in sicer: portalni okvir in portalni okvir s paličnim nosilcem.

Title:Optimization of the steel portal frame with a span 0f 20 m and a height of 7 m
Abstract:The master thesis deals with the optimization of the structural elements of a single-storey hall. In the optimization, we considered two separate systems of the structure, namely: the portal frame and the portal frame with a tuss beam. Loads on structual elements were calculated according to standards SIST EN 1990 and SIST EN 1991. The dimensioning of structural elements was performed in accordance with SIST EN 1993. The optimization program was carried out using the program GAMS. The program can optimize a single-storey hall located in Slovenia. It calculates the optimal dimensions of the elements, the optimal spacing of the portal frames and the optimal height of the tuss beam. In writing the program, we focused on the magnitude of the impacts on given dimensions of a building with a span of 20 m and a height of 7 m. We have determined how the size of different loads affects the elements of the structure.
