Abstract:V pričujočem magistrskem delu smo proučevali program projektnega učenja mlajših odraslih ter oblikovali in evalvirali modul socialnih veščin za mlajše odrasle. Teme so bile: komunikacija, stres, strah, osebnost, motivacija in zaposlitev.

Title:Design and evaluation of the module for developing social skills for young adults
Abstract:In this master's thesis, we studied the project-based learning program for young adults, and designed and evaluated a module of social skills for young adults. In the theoretical part, we touched on the history of project-based learning, described the target group, objectives of the program and the curriculum of the PUM-O program. In the central part of the thesis, we presented the theory of the designed module of social skills. Topics were: communication, stress, fear, personality, motivation, and employment. We selected topics that we determined were important for the quality personal development of each individual. We then further explained Herbart’s articulation of teaching, since it was the basis for the workshop design. At the end of the theoretical part, we designed a "module for the development of social competencies for young adults", which is intended for participants in the PUM-O program. The module is designed in the form of dynamic, interactive workshops to ensure active collaboration between participants. In the empirical part of the thesis, we evaluated the social skills module from three angles. These are, the perspective of a higher education teacher, student, and PUM-O program mentor. We conducted a qualitative empirical study using a survey. Based on the obtained data, we compared the differences in the time frame of the workshops, gained interest in the workshop, the ineffectiveness of the workshops, and the opinions on the quickest deadline quiz. With the help of the research, we wanted to find out whether there are differences between the answers of mentors, higher education teachers and students. Based on the obtained data, we found that there are differences in content-oriented questions (workshop time frame and quick deadline quiz), where the opinions of PUM-O program mentors differ due to many years of experience in the field of young adult education. Given that the general public, especially pedagogical students, do not know enough about the problems of young adults, it would be very useful for students to conduct workshops with participants in the field of professional identity, personal growth and general education at the faculty or in the premises of PUM.
