Abstract:	Raziskava obravnava dva temeljna vidika industrijskega turizma, in sicer kadre in varnost. Industrijski turizem je tip turizma, ki vključuje obiske delujočih podjetij in objektov industrijske dediščine, obiskovalci pa tako spoznajo sam izdelek, delovni proces, zgodovino podjetja in njeno kulturo. Med obiskom se srečajo tudi z zaposlenimi v podjetju, v prvi vrsti s tistimi, ki izvajajo industrijski turizem ter z zaposlenimi v proizvodnji. Zaposleni oziroma kadri so najpomembnejši element vsake organizacije in na njih temelji izvedba dela, še bolj pa turistične ponudbe, saj gre za storitveno dejavnost. Pri tem mora podjetje premišljeno izbrati kadre z ustreznimi kompetencami in z organizacijo izobraževanj skrbeti za nadaljnji razvoj njihovih kompetenc. Po drugi strani pa v svetu različnih rizikov še bolj upoštevamo vidike varnosti, saj obiskovalci obiščejo in se počutijo dobro pri ponudbi, ki zagotavlja visoke varnostne kriterije. V okviru industrijskega turizma so pomembni različni vidiki varnosti, to so zagotavljanje varnosti za obiskovalce, zagotavljanje varnosti za zaposlene, varovanje intelektualne lastnine podjetja ter vzdrževanje higiene proizvodov. V študiji primerov iz štirih različnih držav smo s pomočjo poglobljenih intervjujev in opazovanja z udeležbo preučili, kako naj bodo organizirani kadri in skrb za varnost v procesu ogleda proizvodnje, da bo organizacija na turistični trg lahko ponudila turistično znamenitost aktivni industrijski turizem. Oblikovali smo splošne procesne modele aktivnega industrijskega turizma ter normativne modele kadrov in varnosti v industrijskem turizmu, ki lahko služijo za osnovo nadaljnjega razvoja že obstoječe ponudbe ali za oblikovanje nove ponudbe industrijskega turizma. Ta podjetju predstavlja priložnost za dodaten vir prihodka in promocijo lastnih blagovnih znamk, širši skupnosti pa predstavlja priložnost za razvoj turizma na destinacijah, ki nimajo naravnih znamenitosti, so pa bogate z industrijo.

Title:	Staff, safety and security – pillars of industrial tourism
Abstract:	The research addresses two fundamental aspects of industrial tourism; human resources and safety and security issues. Industrial tourism is a type of tourism that includes visits to operating companies and industrial heritage facilities, where visitors learn about the product itself, the work process, the company's history, and its culture. During the visit, they also meet with employees in the company, primarily those who carry out industrial tourism and production employees. The employees are a vital element of any organisation, since work implementation relies on them, even more so in tourism, as it belongs to a service sector. In this manner, the company must carefully select staff with appropriate competencies, and take care of the further development of their competencies by organising educational events. On the other hand, in a world of different risks, we pay even more attention to security aspects, as visitors visit and feel good about the offer, which provides high-security standards. In the context of industrial tourism, various aspects of safety are essential, namely ensuring visitors' safety, employees' safety, protecting the company's intellectual property, and maintaining product hygiene. In a case study from four different countries, we used in-depth interviews and observation with participation as research methods. The methods were used to examine how personnel and safety concerns should be organised in a factory tour to offer active industrial tourism as a tourism attraction. We have designed general process models of active industrial tourism; normative models of personnel and normative models of safety and security in industrial tourism, which can serve as a basis for further developing the existing offer or creating a new industrial tourism offer. This represents an opportunity for the companies to establish an additional income source and to promote their brands. Moreover, it is an opportunity for the wider community to develop tourism in destinations that do not have natural attractions but are rich in industry.
