Abstract:V diplomskem delu je opisan postopek obravnave kaznivega dejanja na policijski postaji, in sicer postopek obravnave kaznivega dejanja velike tatvine. Zaradi vse večjega pomanjkanja policistov na terenu in zaradi vse več potrebnega administrativnega dela, smo razčlenili in analizirali postopek obravnave kaznivega dejanja.

Title:Analysis of time spent processing criminal offences
Abstract:This BA thesis describes the procedure of processing a criminal offence at a police station, namely the processing of grand theft. Due to a growing lack of police officers on the field and the ever-growing need for administrative work, we laid out and analyzed the procedure of processing a criminal offence. We will try to determine if the process underwent optimal execution and if there is any unnecessary loss of time when carrying out the process itself. Because of this lost time, the police officers’ time of arrival at the site of an emergency increases. This also weakens general security since response time and time of arrival, in certain cases, can be key to people's health or the safety of their property. By analyzing the entire procedure of processing a criminal offence we found certain shortcomings and prepared suggestions on improving the procedure itself. If implemented, these suggestions would reduce the amount of administrative work and increase the proficiency of processing criminal offences, therefore increasing the police officers’ field time, which, in turn, increases the population’s safety with preventative and repressive measures.
