Abstract:V letu 2018 smo v kolekcijskem nasadu UKC Pohorski dvor na Fakulteti za kmetijstvo in biosistemske vede Univerze v Mariboru, postavljenem v sodelovanju z inštitutom INRA v francoskem mestu Bordeaux, spremljali odpornost križancev češnje 'Regina' x 'Lapins' na napad češnjeve muhe (Rhagoletis cerasi L.) in pojav gnilobe (M. laxa in M. fructigena). V nasadu standardni tehnološki ukrepi pridelave (rez, zaščite s fitofarmacevtskimi sredstvi) niso bili izvajani. Glavni opazovani parametri so bili termin zorenja, barva kožice plodov, čvrstost plodov, dolžina peclja in standardni kakovostni parametri plodov (vsebnost suhe snovi, vsebnost skupnih titracijskih kislin).

Title:Selected 'Regina' x 'Lapins' Cherry Hybrid Resistance to Cherry Flies in 2018 Climate Conditions
Abstract:In 2018 we monitored the resistance of ‘Regina’ x ‘Lapins’ cherry hybrids to cherry flies (Rhagoletis cerasi L.) and cherry rot (M. laxa in M. fructigena) in an orchard located at UKC Pohorski dvor at the Faculty of Agriculture and Life Sciences. The orchard was constructed in collaboration with the INRA institute from Bordeaux, France. We monitored 65 different hybrids, grafted on Maxma14 rootstock to evaluate the relationship between the morphological parameters and chemical composition in relation to the level of cherry fruit fly attack and the incidence of rot. The standard technological measures (pruning, protection by plant protection products) were not applied in the orchard. The main observed parameters were ripening date, skin colour, fruit firmness, stem length and standard fruit quality parameters (dry matter content, total titratable acidity). We discovered that among the monitored hybrids, the cherry fly attack was most intensively stimulated by the lower total titratable acidity (7,09 g/L; hybrids no. 16, 86, 95, 104 in 113), the shorter stem (3,91 cm; hybrids no. 16, 86, 95, 104 in 113), the higher weight of 100 fruits (717,38 g; hybrids no. 27, 50, 60, 84, 90 in 91) and the greater length of the 10 fruits (25,13 cm; hybrids no. 16, 86, 95, 104 in 113). The highest cherry fly infestation was confirmed in the later ripening hybrids (20,32%; hybrids no. 8, 30, 49, 50, 53, 60, 66, 76, 84, 90, 91, 94, 95, 100, 104, 113 in 117), which also had a longer stem, a higher average weight and a higher sugar content. The severity of cherry fly infestation was higher on red colored fruit, where the rot score was low, but the intensity of rot was higher in fruits with a higher acid content.
