Abstract:Na splošno vodenje pomeni vplivanje na zaposlene, za opravljanje delovnih nalog in doseganje izidov.

Title:Leading virtual groups and teams
Abstract:In general, leadership means influencing employees to perform work tasks and achieve results. Since the spread of covid-19 around the world, organizations have also changed the way they do operation from physical to virtual. For leaders and members of groups or teams, this way of doing operation is a great challenge, as there are various problems with virtuality (eg lack of social presence). Virtual group leadership differs from traditional groups in that communication is supported by information and communication technology. Verbal communication in a group can be successfully replaced by various video conferencing systems, which are a good substitute for traditional meetings and conversations. An important aspect of leadership is building trust in the group. However, in a virtual environment, there is a specific problem where leaders have to make an extra effort to trust each other with team members. A special problem is also the lack of social relations. The leader has the most important role in all this. A good leader must know how to plan, supervise, organize, coordinate, delegate and very importantly motivate. A group consists of two or more members who get together for important matters or to achieve a common goal. The team is a special group of people who successfully solve tasks together. Team members in accordance with group members, are interdependence, they are in an atmosphere of trust and can participate in decisions that are important for the team, while the group members are more organized in groups, work independently, they are distrustful and in important decisions for the group however, they may or may not participate.
