Title:Terensko delo pri predmetu domovinska in državljanska kultura ter etika : magistrsko delo

Abstract:Osnovni namen magistrskega dela je proučevanje različnih vidikov vključenosti terenskega dela v pouk domovinske in državljanske kulture ter etike v slovenski osnovni šoli. V teoretičnem delu smo opredelili terensko delo in predstavili njegove razsežnosti, oblike in značilnosti. Na podlagi raziskav smo izpostavili učinke terenskega dela v učnem procesu in predstavili omejitve, ki se pojavljajo pri vključevanju terenskega dela v pouk. Proučili smo predstavnost terenskega dela v osnovnih dokumentih, ki določajo organizacijo in delovanje učnega procesa v slovenskih osnovnih šolah. Nato smo se osredotočili na predstavitev predmeta državljanska in domovinska kultura ter etika (v nadaljevanju DKE), ki je sestavni del obveznega kurikuluma v slovenski osnovni šoli. Na osnovi analize učnega načrta in predpisanega učnega gradiva smo proučili povezavo med terenskim delom in predmetom DKE. V empiričnem delu smo izvedli raziskavo med učitelji DKE in analizirali stališča ter mnenje učiteljev o terenskem delu pri pouku DKE. Ugotovili smo, da je vključevanje terenskega dela v pouk DKE redko zaradi različnih omejitev, ki zmanjšujejo učinkovitost in količino aktivnosti terenskega dela pri pouku. Med omejitvami izstopajo veliko število otrok v oddelku, pomanjkanje pedagoških delavcev, ki so na voljo, ter velik energijski in časovni vložek, ki ga zahteva organizacija terenskih aktivnosti. Izkazalo se je tudi, da se učitelji zavedajo pozitivnih učinkov izvajanja terenskega dela in da bi si učitelji želeli več vključevanja terenskega dela v pouk, kar bi lahko dosegli z različnimi ukrepi, kot so priročnik za učitelje in različna izobraževanja o terenskem delu.

Title:Fieldwork in The School Subject of Patriotic and Civic Culture and Ethics
Abstract:The primary purpose of the master thesis is to study various aspects of integration of fieldwork into the teachings of Patriotic and Civic culture and Ethics in Slovenian elementary schools. In the theoretical part of the paper, we define »fieldwork« and present its dimensions and characteristics in education. Based on different surveys, we evaluate the effects of fieldwork on participants in the learning process and present the limitations that arise in the integration of fieldwork in the classroom. We examine the concept of educational fieldwork in basic documents that define the organization and functioning of the Slovenian primary school. Further on, special emphasis is placed on analyzing the school subject Patriotic and Civic Culture and Ethics, which is an integral part of the mandatory curriculum in the Slovenian primary school. We examine the link between fieldwork and the school subject Patriotic and Civic Culture and Ethics, based on curriculum analysis and prescribed learning materials. In the empirical part we carried out a survey among Slovenian teachers of the school subject Patriotic and Civic Culture and Ethics and present its results. The purpose of the study was to analyze the state of fieldwork in the Patriotic and Civic Culture and Ethics class and to find effective solutions to improve the learning process. We found that the inclusion of fieldwork in the subject is rare, due to various limitations that reduce the effectiveness and amount of fieldwork frequency. It turns out that the teachers are aware of the positive effects of practicing fieldwork and that they would like to include more fieldwork in the classroom, which could be achieved by various means.
