Abstract:V našem delu primarno primerjamo okolja centralizirane in decentralizirane menjave kriptovalut. Spoznali smo pojem kriptovalut in njihovo vlogo v globalnem finančem svetu. Za lažjo predstavo smo menjavo kriptovalut primerjali z menjavo delnic na sekundarnih trgih. Opredelili smo, da je kriptovaluta neoprijemljiva virtualna valuta. Nakup kriptovalute pa lahko smatramo kot investicijo v tehnologijo. Poleg majhnega osebnega vlagatelja smo spoznali in opredelili pojma centralizirane in decentralizirane menjave kriptovalut.V magistrskem delu raziskujemo in primerjamo trge decentraliziranih in centraliziranih kripto menjav. Poleg tega smo s pomočjo ankete ugotavljali dejavnike, ki odvračajo posameznike od trženja kriptovalut. Ugotavljamo, da tip investitorja in lastnosti trga menjave močno vplivata na participacijo posameznika v izbran trg menjave.

Title:Comparison of cryptocurrency exchanges from a small personal investors' point of view
Abstract:In our work, we primarily compare centralized and decentralized cryptocurrency exchange environments, mainly from the small investor perspective. We examine the concept of cryptocurrencies and their role in the global financial world. We compared cryptocurrency trading to stock trading in secondary markets for ease of reference. Cryptocurrencies are defined as intangible virtual currency; however, buying a cryptocurrency can be considered an investment; thereby, their investment role is also examined. In addition to being a small personal investor, we investigated the concepts of centralized and decentralized cryptocurrency exchanges. We researched and compared the markets of decentralized and centralized cryptocurrency exchanges. We identified factors that deter individuals from investing in cryptocurrencies in a survey. We find that the type of investor and the exchange market's characteristics strongly influence the individual's participation in the selected exchange market.
