(oba spola), 5., in 7. razredu. (oba spola), 6. in 7. razredu.

Title:A comparison of results of the physical education report card before and after COVID-19 pandemic
Abstract:Our research aimed to discover the possible effects of lifestyle changes on the body features and physical ability that the period between 2018/19 and 2020/21 brought along. Results of the physical education report cards of the students of two generations from the year 2018/19 (before the epidemic) and 2020/21 (after the epidemic) were compared. For the experimental sample of the first generation, we took 554, and for the second 515 students. The data were later analysed with the help of the SPSS program, which enabled determining statistically important differences with the help of the t-test. The comparison was made according to sex and class. We often noticed a decrease in results at testing bent arm hang, 60m run and 600m run. At testing bent arm hang there were major differences in classes 1, 4 (male and female), 5, and class 7. Differences also occurred when analysing both generations. When testing 60m run differences were noticed in classes 2, 4 (male and female), 6, and class 7. When testing 600m run differences were noticed in classes 4, 5, and 6. Moreover, differences remained when comparing both entire generations. Occasionally we could even notice an improvement in the results. The possible reasons for the results could be restrictions limited to the statistical regions, mostly the suburban region of the chosen school, a suitable response from the responsible after cancelling security measures, and general self-activity of the students.
