V magistrskem delu smo podali princip delovanja AMR senzorjev, primerjavo različnih izvedb AMR senzorjev in primerjalno analizo z drugimi vrstami magnetnih senzorjev.

Title:Interpolation of anisotropic magnetic sensor signals in position encoder asic
Abstract:The master's thesis deals with the interpolation of signals of several types of AMR sensors, which are used in today's industry in various applications. AMR sensors are non-contact devices that sense and measure the direction of a magnetic field which can be used to sense position and rotation. In the master's thesis, we also gave the principle of operation of AMR sensors, as well as a comparison of different types of AMR sensors and a comparison with other types of magnetic sensors. We provide an explanation and examples of many influences on measurement accuracy in a functional system (offset, temperature, hysteresis, amplitude, gain, etc.). Among other things, we were particularly interested in the architecture and methodology of designing interpolators to be integrated into systems-on-chip circuits that process sensor signals. Emphasis was also placed on existing designs of interpolators and their comparison. The work concludes with a case study and the design of voltage references, which represents one of the most important blocks of the interpolator. Finally, we present a voltage reference circuit with higher order compensation that will be less sensitive to process variations. The work ends with a discussion on the further development of voltage references as well as a summary of the entire work.
