Abstract:	Namen diplomskega dela je bil opisati kriptovalute in raziskati odnos vlagateljev do kibernetskega kriminala, povezanega s kriptovalutami. Cilj je bil predvsem javnost opozoriti na potencialna tveganja in pasti v svetu kriptovalut ter opisati načine, kako lahko tveganja zmanjšamo. V teoretičnem delu diplomske naloge smo se osredotočili na podrobnejšo predstavitev kriptovalut, kjer smo najprej opisali njihov nastanek, razširjenost, sistem delovanja ter njihove prednosti in slabosti, nato pa smo raziskali in predstavili še tematiko kibernetske kriminalitete v povezavi s kriptovalutami. Zanimal nas je njihov kriminalni potencial, kakšne so oblike kriminala na področju kriptovalut in možne zaščite virtualnega premoženja. V empiričnem delu diplomskega dela smo s pomočjo ankete izvedli raziskavo in ugotovili, kakšen odnos imajo slovenski vlagatelji do kriptovalut in kibernetskega kriminala. Skozi raziskavo smo ugotavljali, ali se slovenski vlagatelji zavedajo pomena zaščite virtualnega premoženja, na katerih platformah hranijo svoje kriptovalute in kaj menijo o ustanovitvi institucije za pregon kriminala na področju kriptovalut na državni ravni. Prav tako smo raziskali, ali se zavedanje nevarnosti izkoriščanja kriptovalut razlikuje glede na izobrazbo in starost anketiranih slovenskih vlagateljev. Glavni namen diplomskega dela je bil predvsem ozavestiti investitorje kriptovalut in tiste, ki bodo to morda še postali, o tem, kako prepoznati morebitna tveganja in se jim uspešno izogniti. Uspeh zmanjšanja kibernetskega kriminala na področju kriptovalut zagotavljajo organizacije, kot so Europol in urad Združenih narodov za drogo in kriminal. Reševanje kriminala na področju kriptovalut pa je vsako leto uspešnejši.

Title:	Attitudes of crypocurrency investitors towards cybercrime
Abstract:	The purpose of the thesis was to describe cryptocurrencies and investigate the attitude of investors towards cybercrime related to cryptocurrencies. The goal was primarily to alert the public to potential risks and pitfalls in the world of cryptocurrencies and to describe ways in which risks can be reduced. In the theoretical part of the thesis, we focused on a more detailed presentation of cryptocurrencies, where we first described their origin, prevalence, operating system and their advantages and disadvantages, and then we also researched and presented the topic of cybercrime in connection with cryptocurrencies. We were interested in their criminal potential, what are the forms of crime in the field of cryptocurrencies and the possible protection of virtual assets. In the empirical part of the thesis, we conducted a survey and found out the attitude of Slovenian investors towards cryptocurrencies and cybercrime. Through the research, we determined whether Slovenian investors are aware of the importance of protecting virtual assets, on which platforms they keep their cryptocurrencies and what they think about the establishment of an institution for the prosecution of crime in the field of cryptocurrencies, at the national level. We also investigated whether the awareness of the dangers of exploiting cryptocurrencies differs depending on the education and age of the surveyed Slovenian investors. The main purpose of the thesis was primarily to raise awareness among crypto-currency investors and those who may become investors about how to recognize potential risks and successfully avoid them. Organizations such as Europol and the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime ensure the success of reducing cybercrime in the field of cryptocurrencies. Solving crime in the field of cryptocurrencies is becoming more successful every year.
