Abstract:	Optimalno upravljanje z zalogami postaja ključen del vsakega prodajnega podjetja in lahko močno vpliva na uspešnost podjetja. Tradicionalni pristopi pri upravljanju in dokumentiranju zalog v današnjem vse bolj konkurenčnem okolju niso več dovolj. Ker se je podjetje v zadnjih dvajsetih letih močno razširilo, so se pojavile mnoge težave s pravilnim dokumentiranjem in upravljanjem z zalogami. Določanje ustrezne ravni zalog je ključnega pomena, saj zaloga veže denar in vpliva na uspešnost. Diplomsko nalogo sestavljata teoretični in praktični del. V uvodnem delu smo opredelili problematiko, cilje in težo predpostavke in omejitve ter predvideli metode dela. V teoretičnem delu smo opredelili pomen upravljanja zalog z vidika različnih avtorjev. Opisali različne vrste zalog in opredelili tri skupine stroškov, ki jih povzročijo zaloge, ter pojasnili pomen optimalne količine zalog. Predstavili smo dva možna modela za spremljanje zalog. V praktičnem delu je sledila predstavitev podjetja, ki zajema zgodovino, dejavnost in način delovanja. Opredelili smo način delovanja v skladišču, vse od uskladiščenja do opreme blaga. Opisali smo problematiko sedanjega načina vodenja skladišča. Kot rešitev smo predlagali digitalizacijo skladišča in posodobitev sedanjega informacijskega sistema. Sodobna tehnologija omogoča malim podjetjem, da delujejo na načine, ki so bili še pred eno generacijo nemogoči. Tehnologija omogoča zaposlenim boljšo komunikacijo, lastnikom podjetij omogoča učinkovitejše upravljanje stroškov ter prodajo izdelkov in storitev na nove in drugačne načine.

Title:	Inventory management and digitalization of warehouse in ilambienti d.o.o.
Abstract:	Optimum inventory management is becoming a key part of any retail business and can have a huge impact on business performance. Traditional approaches to inventory management and documentation are no longer sufficient in today's increasingly competitive environment. As the company has expanded greatly over the past twenty years, many problems have arisen with proper documentation and inventory management. Determining the appropriate level of inventory is critical because inventory ties up cash and affects performance. The thesis consists of theoretical and practical work. In the introductory part, we defined the problem, the goals and the weight of the assumptions and limitations, and predicted the work methods. In the theoretical part, we defined the importance of stock management from the point of view of various authors. He described the different types of inventory and defined the three groups of costs caused by inventory and explained the importance of the optimal amount of inventory. We have presented two possible inventory monitoring models. After the practical work, there was a presentation of the company with its history, activity and way of working. We have determined the way of operation in the warehouse, everything from storage to the equipment of the goods. We have described the problems of the current way of managing the warehouse. As a solution, they suggested digitizing the warehouse and updating the current information system. Modern technology allows small businesses to operate in ways that were impossible just a generation ago. Technology enables employees to communicate better, enables business owners to manage costs more efficiently and sell products and services in new and different way.
