Abstract:Ljudje so začeli uporabljati umetne vire svetlobe, da so si podaljšali dan, ko ponoči ni zadoščala svetloba lune in zvezd. Z uporabo svetlobnih virov z nižjimi barvnimi temperaturami (toplejše barve svetlobe) razbremenimo okolico in zmanjšamo svetlobno onesnaževanje. V diplomskem delu je obravnavana razsvetljava cestnega odseka s svetilkami s spremenljivim barvnim spektrom. Narejena je primerjava izračuna in meritve z luksmetrom. V barvnem trikotniku sta na Planckovi krivulji prikazani barvni koordinati obeh barv in v grafu spektra svetlobnega vira z različnimi barvami bele svetlobe. Diplomsko delo vključuje anketo o posameznikovih preferencah svetlobe pri različnih opravilih in v prometu. Rezultati potrjujejo, da so ljudje osveščeni o svetlobnem onesnaževanju, vendar kljub temu pogosteje izbirajo svetlobne vire hladnejših barv.

Title:Possibilities of reducing light pollution with use of street lamps with variable light spectrum
Abstract:People began to use artificial light sources to extend their day when there was not enough light and stars at night. At first, this source was fire and later came various candles, oil lamps. The first light bulbs came into use after a few centuries.. Since then, light sources accompany us in everyday tasks. Light doesn't affect humans only visually but it also regulates our body's functions. Throught the secretion of hormones such as cortisol, melatonin, dopamine and serotonin, our circadian rhythm is regulated according to the light detected by our photoreceptors. The above mentioned hormones affect our mood, health, abilities and well-being. The color of white light is described with color temperature, from warm to cool. Different colors of white light have different spectral compositions and have different effects on hormonal secretion, people, animals and the environment. By using light sources with warmer colors of light, i.e. with lower color temperatures, we relieve the environment and reduce light pollution. This thesis includes an example of an outdoor projec t- a road which is lit with lamps with a variable color spectrum. A comparison was made between the simulation and measurements with a luxmeter. In the color triangle, the color coordiantes of the two colors are shown on Planck's curve and in the spectrum graph of the light source with different colors of white light. The thesis also includes a survey on people's preferences for different colors of white light in various tasks and in traffic. It has been shown that people are aware of light pollution but still prefer cooler colored light sources.
