Izbrane članke analizirali in njihove značilnosti predstavili v skupni tabeli, kjer smo opravili razvrstitev po hierarhiji dokazov in ocenili njihovo kakovost. Ugotovitve smo sintetizirali s pomočjo tematske analize.

Title:The Influence of the COVID-19 Pandemic on the Change of the Algorithm for the Implementation of Basic Resuscitation Procedures
Abstract:Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) procedures generally refer to the skills and procedures performed by first responders, medical professionals, and lay persons on anyone experiencing cardiac arrest. The purpose of the bachelor’s thesis is to determine how the COVID-19 pandemic has changed the algorithm of basic cardiopulmonary resuscitation procedures. We performed a review, analysis, and synthesis of the literature related to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the change in the CPR algorithm. After reviewing the literature, we performed an analysis of the identified sources. We analyzed the selected articles and presented their characteristics in a common table. We also performed a classification according to the hierarchy of evidence and assessed their quality. After reviewing the nine identified studies, we set “the differences in the CPR algorithm during the COVID-19 pandemic for all providers, according to the ERC 2015 and 2021 guidelines.” Changes between the 2015 and 2021 guidelines and differences during the COVID-19 pandemic were identified. They relate to reducing the transmission of infection to the rescuer, changes in determining responsiveness and breathing, and the use of personal protective equipment. The changes relate to determining responsiveness and observing breathing. The use of HEPA filters during ventilation is recommended, or that lay persons place a mask or a piece of cloth over the mouth. There are considerable changes mainly in the use of PPE and reducing the possibility of infection being transferred from the injured person to the rescuer during resuscitation.
