Title:Development of electronic amplifier for piezoelectric actuator
Abstract:As part of the thesis, a cooling system for an electric amplifier, used to power piezoelectric actuators was developed. To ensure the system’s active cooling, we calculated the temperatures of the amplifier junction, selected the appropriate heatsink, as well as determined suitable fans. The electric amplifier was then tested with input signals of different frequencies and amplitudes. During this, we observed the output signal and the temperature of the PB51 power amplifier casing as well. The Apex Power Design programme was used to analyse the stability of the integrated electric amplifier. To ensure easier and better capturing of photos and videos, we 3D printed an attachment for a mobile phone that connects to the ocular lens of the microscope. This enables us to capture slow-motion images of water circulation on a microscopic slide, which will facilitate further research in the field of microfluidic engines.
