Abstract:	Kmetijstvo je ena izmed najstarejših panog človeštva in igra ključno vlogo pri našem obstoju. Problematike, s katerimi se kmetje in politika srečujejo danes, so vezani na klimatske spremembe, disrupcije v oskrbovalnih verigah in ugotovitev, da za preživetje enostavno ne proizvajamo dovolj hrane. Kmetje se zaradi omenjenih težav srečujejo s finančnimi primanjkljaji in iščejo možnosti za ohranitev obstoječega prihodka in alternativ z dodano vrednostjo, ki bi jim prinesle večje finančne zaslužke. Povezovanje med panogo, kot je kmetijstvo, in managementom, ki se osredotoča na optimizacijo in doseganje zastavljenih ciljev, je tako za kmete ena izmed možnosti. Pomembnost managementa v kmetijstvu iz leta v leto raste s pridobivanjem novih znanj, novih tehnologij in hitro spremenljivih trendov, ki so nastali kot rezultat globalizacije. Za večino kmetov je management abstraktna veda, ki je sploh ne znajo pravilno uporabljati. Vendar uporaba orodij, kot so poslovni načrti, predstavlja veliko priložnost za tiste, ki so se pripravljeni prilagoditi. Poslovni načrti so sami po sebi v fazah razvoja, kjer poteka veliko debat glede tega, zakaj jih potrebujemo in kakšni poslovni načrti so vsaj v teoriji pravilni. Tukaj do odstopanj od ugotovitev prihaja v praksi. Tudi manjša podjetja, kot je primer bučna oljarna Senekovič, lahko uporabijo poslovni načrt, da si začrtajo in posledično s pomočjo poslovnega načrta zastavljene cilje tudi dosežejo. Slovenija ima bogato zgodovino glede pridelave bučnega olja in tudi pravno zaščito za proizvajanje teh produktov. Tako je logična poteza slovenskih kmetov, da se združijo s strokovnjaki s področja managementa in ustvarijo novo uspešno poslovno zgodbo. Tekom diplomske naloge smo tako predstavili kmetijstvo v Evropski Uniji in Sloveniji sedaj ter tudi v prihodnjih letih. Predstavili smo tudi bučno industrijo in management, poslovni načrt in managementske vidike, ki jih moramo v poslovnem načrtu za bučno oljarno upoštevati. Diplomsko delo je tako sestavljeno iz teoretičnega dela in praktičnega dela. V sklepu smo predstavili svoje ugotovitve za kmetijstvo v prihajajočih letih, kje so poudarki, in kako se naj podjetnik loti ustanavljanja in razvoja svoje bučne oljarne.

Title:	Managerial aspects of the Senekovič pumpkin oil plant business plan
Abstract:	Agriculture is one of the oldest industries of mankind and plays a vital role in our existence. The problems faced by farmers and politicians today are related to climate change, disruptions in supply chains and the realization that we simply do not produce enough food to survive. Farmers are also facing financial setbacks due to the aforementioned problems and are looking for ways to maintain existing income and look for alternatives with added value that would bring them greater financial earnings. The connection between an industry such as agriculture and management, which focuses on optimization and the achievement of set goals, is thus one of the possibilities for farmers. The importance of management in agriculture grows year by year with the acquisition of new knowledge, new technologies and rapidly changing trends that have arisen as a result of globalization. For most farmers, management is an abstract science that they do not even know how to use properly, but the use of tools such as business plans represents a great opportunity for those who are ready to adapt. Business plans are in their own stages of development, where there is a lot of debate about why we need them and what kind of business plans are correct, at least in theory, but here there are deviations from findings in practice. Even smaller companies, such as the Seneković pumpkin oil mill, can use a business plan to outline and, as a result, achieve the set goals with the help of a business plan. Slovenia has a rich history of pumpkin oil production and also legal protection for the production of these products, so it is a logical move for Slovenian farmers to team up with experts in the field of management and create a new successful business story. During the thesis, we presented agriculture in the European Union and Slovenia now and in the coming years, the pumpkin industry as well as management, a business plan and the management aspects that must be taken into account in the business plan for a pumpkin oil mill. The thesis thus consists of a theoretical part and a practical part. In the conclusion, we also presented our findings for agriculture in the coming years and where the emphasis should be, as well as how an entrepreneur should set about establishing and developing his pumpkin oil mill.
