Title:Optimization of connection of multipole versions of switch-disconnector-fuse
Abstract:At ETI Elektroelement d.o.o., where I did my practical training, we encountered a problem of connecting multi-pole isolating switches with fuse. So far, we have used the orbital riveting process to connect multi-pole isolating switches with fuse. As it is currently difficult to obtain metallic materials due to the world situation, a new connection solution had to be found. Up to now, CuZn15 rivets and Fe pins have been used for the interconnection. In the context of the thesis, we have introduced plastic fasteners to save on material, reduce the labour norm and thus reduce production costs. For the new connection system, the fasteners were installed in specially designed holes to maintain the distance between them. The aim of the task was to determine the most efficient layout of the holes for the insertion of the fasteners. This was done while maintaining all the technical characteristics of the product and still complying with the IEC standard. The fasteners also do not affect the internal mechanism of the product.
