Title:Review and analysis of covert channel techniques
Abstract:With the increasing focus on information and data security, it is important to be aware of all the ways in which data can be hidden. In this thesis we have focused on the operation of covert channels, their techniques, and different implementations. We have found that there are a large number of discovered and undiscovered types of covert channels present in all parts of network communication. We also demonstrated the workings of our covert channel implementations and showed how they can be built.
Keywords:Covert channels, hiding, protocol, covert communication, cybernetic attack
