Kot primer dobre prakse smo prikazali primer »Zero waste« koncepta.

Title:Analysis of environmental and organizational aspects of different forms of composting
Abstract:Today's consumers, unfortunately, still live in the belief that there is an unlimited supply of raw materials in the world, as well as space for waste disposal. Of course, this is not the case, it must be borne in mind that every product eventually becomes waste. This is why the European Union is increasingly focusing on waste prevention, reuse, separate collection, recycling and composting in its strategies, programs and legislation. In Slovenia, a large proportion of waste still ends up in landfills, but we are already seeing progress in this area. Thus, waste separation is the first and very important step towards sustainable waste management. The thesis deals with the analysis of sustainable waste management in the territory of Slovenia. In doing so, we repeatedly emphasize that waste separation at the source is the basis of this action. Organic waste can further be composted. For this reason, we have demonstrated modern methods of composting waste. In the research part we conducted a survey among the population of Slovenia. We were wondering if they were treating waste responsibly. It turns out that this is still unfortunately not the case. There is a lot of irresponsible waste management. Therefore, we have suggested some improvements in this area below. As an example of good practice, we have shown an example of the 'Zero waste' concept.
