Abstract:Diplomsko delo obravnava pregled in analizo uradnih listin in dokumentov razvojnega načrta prenosnega sistema Republike Slovenije 2019–2028, celovitega energetskega in podnebnega načrta Republike Slovenije ter dokument o politiki EU na področju infrastrukture za alternativna goriva. V prvem delu diplomskega dela so predstavljene napovedi razvojnega načrta porabe električne energije do leta 2028 in 2050.

Title:Analysis and measures to cover electricity consumption in slovenia until 2028 and 2050 through the perspective of all four scenarios of the development plan
Abstract:The thesis of my diploma examines, reviews and analyzes official documents of the development plan of the transmission system of the Republic of Slovenia 2019-2028, the comprehensive energy and climate plan of the Republic of Slovenia, and the document on EU policy in the field of infrastructure for alternative fuels. The first part of the thesis presents forecasts of the development plan for electricity consumption until 2028 and 2050. These are necessary to get an idea of how much electricity will be needed to meet the needs of household and business consumers. This is followed by an analysis of all four scenarios of the development plan, scenarios ENTSO-E and ENTSO-G, and the energy concept of Slovenia. These analyzes are necessary to determine measures that enable reliable coverage of electricity consumption in Slovenia until 2028 and 2050 through the aspects of all four scenarios of the development plan. Then follow the measures to cover the consumption of electric energy and the requirements of the transmission network of electric and hybrid cars. The most appropriate measures for most scenarios are the construction of a new block of the Krško Nuclear Power Plant and the construction of new capacities for the exploitation of hydropower, as well as the use of the existing infrastructure of the Šoštan Thermal Power Plant after its closure.
