Abstract:V diplomskem delu bomo obravnavali vlakovno pot, osredotočili se bomo na železniški tovorni transport.

Title:Train path - on the example of transport from Oradea to Villa Opicina
Abstract:In this bachelor’s thesis, we will analyse a rail route and focus on rail freight transport. We will examine factors that influence rail transport, focusing on transportation on Slovenian territory. Transport in and across Slovenia is overseen by a subsidiary of the transport company Train Hungary Magánvasút KFT located in Ljubljana. In our thesis, we will try to improve its effects by introducing a new route. We will change the route while our route destination (destination station) will remain unchanged. We will try to improve the route in order to gain greater efficiency. We can achieve this by shortening the duration of transport and reducing its costs. If we manage to shorten its duration, we will increase the company’s productivity, which will result in higher revenue. If, on the other hand, we reduce the costs of transport, the revenue will increase even without changing the productivity. If we manage to reduce the costs and shorten the duration of transport, we will increase not only the company’s revenue but also its productivity. We can shorten the duration of the route by eliminating its barriers and by introducing a route that is smoother and has fewer so-called bottlenecks. We can reduce transport costs by introducing a route without tolls and unnecessary barriers that can be avoided by either using a different route or different crossings, namely border crossings.
