Abstract:	Kmetijstvo je dejavnost, ki se v večji meri odvija na prostem in je zelo odvisna od podnebnih dejavnikov. Eden izmed njih je veter, ki ima velik vpliv na rastlinsko proizvodnjo. Ob velikih hitrostih vetra je lahko v kmetijstvu veliko škode na infrastrukturi, kmetijskih površinah in pridelkih. Velik problem v kmetijstvu je tudi erozija prsti, saj se na ta način uničujejo zemljišča, primerna za kmetijsko obdelavo. Z ustreznimi ukrepi, kot je vzpostavitev protivetrnih pasov, lahko škodo, nastalo zaradi močnih vetrov, zmanjšamo ali preprečimo. V magistrskem delu so razviti trije različni scenariji vzpostavitve protivetrnih pasov, ki lahko ob pravilnem upravljanju preprečijo omenjene probleme. Z metodo simulacijskega modeliranja je razvit tehnološko simulacijski model, katerega rezultat je ocena ekonomike vzpostavitve in pridelave na območju protivetrnih pasov. Za scenarij št. 3, ki je bil ocenjen kot najprimernejši, je izvedena finančna analiza ocene investicije, v kateri smo ocenili parameter neto sedanje vrednosti (NSV) za obdobje 30 let, kri pri 5,5 % obrestni meri znaša 273,73 €. Ocenili smo tudi interno stopnjo donosnosti (ISD), ki znaša 5,6 %, NSV takrat znaša 40,82 €. Na osnovi ocenjene višine investicije vzpostavitve protivetrnega pasu, ki znaša 21.838,28 €, ter ocenjenega parametra NSV smo ugotovili, da je investicija vzpostavitve protivetrnega pasu smiselna, saj se povrne v 13. letu. Na primeru kmetije smo za scenarij št. 3, s pomočjo programa Farm Manager, analizirali poslovanje kmetije. Celostno raziskavo smo podkrepili še s SWOT analizo, kjer smo analizirali prednosti, slabosti, priložnosti in nevarnosti vzpostavitve protivetrnih pasov.

Title:	Assessment of Hazel Windbreak Planting Economics and the impact on farm Business Performance Using Farm Manager
Abstract:	Agriculture is an activity that primarily takes place outdoors and is highly dependent on climatic factors. One such example is the wind, which significantly influences plant production. High wind speeds can cause significant damage to infrastructure, farmland, and crops in agriculture. Soil erosion is also a major challenge in agriculture since land suitable for agricultural cultivation is destroyed in this way. With appropriate measures, such as establishing windbreaks, damage caused by strong winds can be reduced or prevented. In this master's thesis, three scenarios for establishing windbreaks are developed, which, if properly managed, can prevent the mentioned problems. The method of simulation modelling enables a technological simulation model to be developed, the result of which is an assessment of the economics of establishment and production regarding windbreaks. For Scenario 3, which was assessed as the most suitable, a financial analysis of the investment assessment was carried out, through which we estimated the parameter of the net present value (NPV) for a period of 30 years at a 5.5% interest rate, which amounts to €273.73. We also estimated the internal rate of return (IRR) as 5.6%, and the NPV then amounts to €40.82. Based on the estimated investment amount for the establishment of the windbreak, which amounts to €21,838.28, and the estimated NPV parameter, we concluded that the investment in the establishment of the windbreak makes sense, as it is repaid by the 13th year. In the example of the farm, we analysed the farm's operations for Scenario 3 with the help of the Farm Manager program. We also supported the comprehensive research with a SWOT analysis, where we analysed the advantages, disadvantages, opportunities, and threats of establishing windbreaks.
