Izvedli smo pregled mobilnih aplikacij v mobilni trgovini Google Play. Mobilne aplikacije, ki smo jih vključili v končno analizo, so bile s strani treh zdravstvenih delavcev ocenjene z uporabo uMARS (angl. User Version of the Mobile Application Rating Scale) lestvice. Prav tako smo preverili ustreznost izračunov mobilnih aplikacij z uporabo šestih kliničnih primerov. Rezultati: Pri iskanju mobilnih aplikacij v Google Play spletni trgovini smo našli 250 zadetkov, od katerih smo v končno analizo vključili 11 mobilnih aplikacij. Najvišjo skupno povprečno oceno (M = 4,3; SD = 0,6) je prejela mobilna aplikacija Infusions plus: infusion rate calculator, najnižjo skupno povprečno oceno (M = 3,0; SD = 0,4) pa mobilni aplikaciji Medical calculators in Infusion rate calculator.

Title:Mobile applications for medication application
Abstract:Introduction: For a good outcome of the patient's treatment, it is important that the medical staff administers give the right medicial therapy to the patient in the right dose. In doing so, we can use mobile applications that give us a quick access to informations and enable the calculation of medication therapy doses. Our goal was to find relevant and appropriate mobile applications that enable healthcare professionals to calculate appropriate doses of medical therapy. Methods: In our thesis we used the quantitative method. We conducted a review of mobile apps in the Google Play mobile store. The mobile applications that we included in the final analysis were evaluated by three healthcare professionals using the uMARS (User Version of the Mobile Application Rating Scale) scale. We also tested the adequacy of the mobile application calculations using six clinical cases. Results: When searching for mobile applications in Google Play online store, we found 250 mobile applications, of which we included 11 in our final analysis. The highest mean score (M = 4.3; SD = 0.6) was given to the mobile application Infusions plus: infusion rate calculator, and the lowest mean score (M = 3.0; SD = 0.4) got mobile applications Medical calculators and Infusion rate calculator. Based on clinical cases, we found that all mobile applications calculate the appropriate doses. Discussion and conclusion: It is important for healthcare professionals to be aware of quality and relevant mobile applications that are evidence-based and have been analyzed by experts. Mobile applications allow us to quickly calculate the necessary doses, which affects the safe medical therapy application and enables quality patients care.
