Title:Reorganisation of warehouse spaces in the process of acquiring energy raw materials
Abstract:In the thesis, we focused on the reorganisation of storage locations in the process of obtaining energy raw materials. All companies that have relatively large warehouse or landfill locations strive for as much transparency as possible in warehouse operations, and as a result, storage capacity is of key importance. The selected company also faces a lack of storage and even more so landfill capacities, which affects the efficiency of transportation, storage and commissioning of material and equipment. The aim of the thesis is to improve and reorganise storage and landfill locations in the process of obtaining energy raw materials. With critical analysis we presented the causes for time loss and lack of storage or landfill locations, and provided solutions that would help improve the process in the selected company. Due to the specificity of this industrial sector, it is difficult to decide on the right direction of optimisation, as the work process is constantly changing and it is necessary to adapt to it. After examining the facts, we decided to propose a rearrangement of the storage and landfill locations, which consequently increases the efficiency of transportation, storage and commissioning of material and equipment, and the productivity of the work process itself.
