Metode: Izvedli smo sistematični pregled znanstvene literature z analizo in sintezo. Literaturo smo z vključitvenimi in izključitvenimi kriteriji iskali v podatkovnih bazah PubMed, CINAHL in Medline s pomočjo zastavljenega iskalnega niza. Ti največkrat privedejo do aplikacije napačnega zdravila. Vse to povzroča škodo pacientu.

Title:The importance of drug knowledge in nurses
Abstract:Introduction: In their work, nurses handle medicines on a daily basis, so it is important that they know the medicines, identify possible errors in the administration of medicines and be aware of them. The purpose of the final work is to investigate how nursing employees perceive errors in medication administration. Methods: We carried out a systematic review of the scientific literature with analysis and synthesis. We searched the literature with inclusion and exclusion criteria in the databases PubMed, CINAHL and Medline with the help of a set search string. We followed the PRISMA guidelines. Thematic analysis was used to synthesize the identified studies. Results: We included 12 articles in the final analysis. We found that the occurrence of medication errors is influenced by various factors, personality and other current disturbing factors. These most often lead to the application of the wrong medicine. Nursing staff often face barriers to reporting medication errors, so they go unreported. Discussion: It can be noted that in clinical practice, errors in the administration of drugs often occur, some of whom are not even aware of them. All this causes harm to the patient.
