Abstract:	Družbena omrežja so najpogostejša oblika komunikacije, najhitrejši vir informacij ter odlična platforma za ustvarjanje, deljenje in ogled vsebin. V zadnjih petnajstih letih (Datareportal, 2022) se je uporaba družbenih omrežij močno povečala, predvsem zaradi hitrega razvoja informacijsko-komunikacije tehnologije. Na družbenih omrežjih se je v zadnjih letih začel pojavljati trend, kjer starši delijo dogodke iz svojega življenja in tako tudi objavljajo fotografije svojih otrok ter vsebino, povezano z njimi (t. i. sharenting). Nekatere izmed fotografij otrok, ki jih na spletu objavijo starši, so lahko sporne oz. neprimerne, recimo fotografije, na katerih je otrok pomanjkljivo oblečen ali celo gol, fotografije, s katerih lahko izvemo osebne informacije o otroku, lokacijo ipd. Z objavo fotografij na družbenih omrežjih lahko otroka ogrozimo, posredno ali neposredno, oziroma ga lahko izpostavimo različnim nevarnostim. V diplomskem delu smo raziskovali, v kolikšni meri starši objavljajo fotografije svojih otrok, kakšno je mnenje o tem in kakšna je ozaveščenost o morebitnih nevarnostih, ki lahko otrokom pretijo ob objavi fotografij na družbenih omrežjih. Raziskavo smo naredili s pomočjo spletne ankete. V anketi je sodelovalo 106 oseb, od tega 48 staršev. Rezultati ankete so pokazali, da se anketiranci v povprečju strinjajo, da je objavljanje fotografij otrok na družbenih omrežjih problem. Strinjajo se tudi z izjavo, da so fotografije, kjer je vidno otrokovo golo telo, neprimerne. Anketiranci so v večini dobro ozaveščeni o morebitnih nevarnostih, ki otrokom lahko pretijo ob objavi fotografij na družbenih omrežjih. Z anketo je bilo tudi ugotovljeno, da starši, ki objavljajo fotografije svojih otrok, menijo, da bi takšno dejanje za otroka lahko bilo škodljivo.

Title:	The research of publishing child photographs on social media
Abstract:	Social media is the most popular way of communication, one of the fastest sources of information and an excellent platform for creating, sharing, and watching content. In the last 15 years the use of social media has grown exponentially and is still growing. This growth can be attributed to the fast development of Information-Communication Technology. With widespread adaptation of social media, a new trend has emerged wherein parents share the events of their life, and information pertaining to their child, such as pictures, videos, and other information (so-called sharenting). Sometimes parents can post content of the child, which can be considered inappropriate or even dangerous. For example, pictures where the child is only partly dressed or underdressed, pictures from which relevant information can be extracted such as the child’s location, etc. When posting child photos on the social media, we can endanger the child, directly or indirectly. In our thesis research was done on how frequently parents upload content of their children online, what their point of view is on the matter, and their general awareness of the dangers a child may be exposed to on the internet as a result of sharing the child’s information. The research was conducted using an online survey that consisted of 106 participants, 48 of which were parents. The results showed that the respondents on average agreed, that posting child photos on social media is problematic. They also agree with the statement that explicit photos of a child are highly inappropriate for posting on social media. Respondents are also mostly aware of the dangerous consequences which may occur from posting information of a child on the internet. Surprisingly, the results also showed that even parents that do post content of their children on social media, believe that their behaviour can be detrimental to the child.
