Abstract:Zdravstvene koristi vadbe v naravnem okolju močno presegajo koristnost vadbe v zaprtih prostorih. V empiričnem delu sem predstavil, kako so 12-tedenski program vadbe v naravi izvajali štirje udeleženci.

Title:Modern aspects of functional exercise in nature through the lens of a 12-week exercise program
Abstract:The health benefits of exercising in a natural environment far exceed those of exercising indoors. Exercise is generally beneficial in physical and psychological terms, even indoors. Outdoors, however, its benefits are further enhanced by the beneficial effects of sunlight, fresh air, etc. The main purpose of the thesis was to prove that my 12-week program of functional exercises improves some deficiencies in the physical fitness of beginners and recreational sportsmen. I believe that not enough people do functional exercises. They are often put off by the excessive complexity of the exercises. Two of my goals in the bachelor’s thesis were to present a simplified program of functional exercises and bring this form of exercise to a wider audience. In my bachelor’s thesis which consists of a theoretical and an empirical part, I presented various aids that modern sportsmen use during training outdoors. I also described methods for increasing strength, endurance, mobility, and maximum aerobic capacity. In the empirical part, I presented how the 12-week exercise program in nature was performed by four participants. Using four different sets of measurements, I ascertained how physically prepared they were at the beginning, what their intermediate progress was, and what result they achieved at the end. I compared the results using the comparative method, employing which I could confirm or reject the set hypotheses.
