Abstract:V magistrski nalogi smo raziskali področje hitrega hlajenja pijač na podlagi peltierjevega pojava. Časi hlajenja pri uporabi konvencionalnih načinov hlajenja pijač so dolgi in večinoma ne omogočajo nastavljanja točne željene temperature pijače. Peltierjevi elementi po drugi strani omogočajo hitro ohlajanje in možnost natančne regulacije. Izdelali smo prototip naprave za hlajenje pijač, ga testirali in izračunali njegov izkoristek. Opravili smo raziskavo trga že obstoječih naprav za hitro hlajenje pijač. Naredili smo stroškovno analizo izdelave prototipa in proizvodnje naprave za hitro hlajenje pijač. Raziskavo hlajenje pijač na podlagi peltierjevega pojava smo opravili s pomočjo svetovnega spleta in splošno dostopne literature. Prototip smo naredili s pomočjo splošnega orodja in CNC rezkalnika.

Title:Development of rapid cooling machine for beverages
Abstract:In this master thesis, we investigated the field of rapid cooling of beverages based on the Peltier phenomenon. Cooling times using conventional beverage cooling methods are long and mostly do not allow to set the exact desired temperature of the beverage. Peltier elements, on the other hand, allow rapid cooling and the possibility of precise control. We have built a prototype beverage chiller, tested it and calculated its efficiency. We have carried out a market survey of existing rapid beverage chillers. We have carried out a cost analysis of the prototype and production of a rapid beverage chiller. We have carried out research on beverage cooling based on the Peltier phenomenon using the World Wide Web and widely available literature. The prototype was made using general tooling and a CNC router. The device was tested in the energy laboratory of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Maribor. Market research was carried out by searching and comparing other rapid beverage cooling devices on the internet. The economic analysis of the production and sales of the device was based on our own experience and data found on the internet. We found that although low cooling times can be achieved with peltier cells, they come at the cost of a large amount of electrical power. If the efficiency of the device were to be increased, it would be very attractive to the market.
