Abstract:Učinkovito vodenje športnega tima vključuje samozavest, zaupanje in medsebojno spoštovanje.

Title:Leading a sports team
Abstract:Effective leadership of a sports team involves self-confidence, trust and mutual respect. The best coaches take risks – but thoughtfully, they are confident and innovative in their decisions. They tend to transfer these qualities to team members and build relationships vital to performance quality. The Thesis includes a description of leadership, performance, relationships, and various factors that influence teams' success or potential failure. In the research, we assessed the coach's approach and specifically touched on communication and attitude towards the players. In the second part of the research, we looked at processes and thinking in terms of relationships between teammates. We ended it with the personal perspective of the respondents on the topic of regeneration after defeat. The results showed that the players were quite satisfied with the coaches' approach, but there was some reserve in the communication and personal relationship with the manager. The captain is also considered an essential team member. He is supposed to ensure cohesion between the players on and off the field. With the help of the findings, we presented proposed solutions in the field of management that can provide the desired results for every sports team.
