Abstract:Skladiščenje je ključni sestavni del oskrbne verige. V zadnjem obdobju je opaziti velik porast spletnih trgovin, kar v procesu komisioniranja pomeni obdelavo velikega števila komisionirnih nalogov z majhnim številom izdelkov. V diplomskem delu smo preučili različne načine komisioniranja. Pripravili smo eksperiment, pri katerem smo merili čas izvajanja: · procesa komisioniranja z radio frekvenčnimi (angl. Radio Frequency, v nadaljevanju RF ) terminali; · procesa svetlobno usmerjenega komisioniranja (angl. Pick To Light) v kombinaciji komisioniranja z RF terminali.

Title:Comparison of the "pick-to-light" order-picking system with the classic order-picking system
Abstract:Warehousing is a key component of the supply chain. The basic function of a warehouse is to store goods and raw materials, but it is also a collection point where goods from different suppliers are combined and then distributed according to customer requirements. The quality of service during the shipment of goods to customers is greatly influenced by the order picking process, which also represents a large part of the warehouse's operational costs. In recent years, there has been a significant increase in online stores, which means a large number of picking tasks with a small number of items to be processed. In this thesis, we examined various methods of order picking. We conducted an experiment in which we measured the time it took to complete: · The order picking process using Radio Frequency (RF) terminals. · The order picking process combined with RF terminal and Pick To Light technology. Based on the measured times, we determined which method of order picking is the most effective. It turned out that the order picking process combined with RF terminal and Pick To Light technology is 35.67% more efficient than the order picking process using RF terminals alone. Based on the measurements, we confirmed the hypothesis that order pickers using the combined method of order picking (RF terminals and Pick To Light system) would be faster than using RF terminals alone.
