S pomočjo vključitvenih in izključitvenih kriterijev ter ustreznega iskalnega niza smo iskanje literature izvedli v podatkovnih bazah PubMed, SAGE in Science Direct.

Title:Stigmatisation of people with COVID-19
Abstract:Introduction: Stigma is a phenomenon in which society characterises an individual because of their difference in the sense of health, means that a group of people with the same disease is discriminated or negatively labelled because of a known association with a particular disease, arising from fear of the unknown such as the outbreak of COVID-19. The purpose of the final work is to investigate the incidence of stigmatisation during the period of COVID-19 disease. Methods: A literature review on the stigmatisation of the population diseased with COVID-19 was performed. A descriptive method of work was used, using the method of analysis, compilation, comparison, and synthesis. With the help of inclusion and exclusion criteria and a suitable search string, we performed a literature search in the databases PubMed, SAGE and Science Direct. Results: We included nine articles out of 1170 found in the databases in the analysis. The research used in the final part proved the negative labelling of individuals or groups in the form of stigmatisation due to infection or recovery from COVID-19. Discussion and conclusion: After reviewing the literature, we found that stigmatisation occurred in individuals and groups with different characteristics who contracted or recovered from COVID-19 as a negative label. Further research is crucial to understanding and managing the stigma associated with emerging diseases.
