Title:Perceived value of the destination "Municipality of Murter-Kornati"
Abstract:The perceived value of the destination is a value that is an integral part of the purchase process and influences the behaviour of consumers when purchasing a particular product or service. Perceived value as such is an integral part of the marketing campaign by which it becomes part of the destination management from which it stems. The perceived value is the relationship between the costs invested, and the values obtained. As it is influenced by a large number of factors and depends on the stage at which the customer is located, it is subjective. This thesis deals with the concepts of destination management, marketing, and perceived value. A survey was conducted on the perceived value of the destination of the Municipality of Murter-Kornati, and it was shown that the perceived value of the destination is different from the real experienced value of the destination and that the perceived value differs in relation to whether it is viewed from the perspective of a potential tourist or tourist who was staying in the destination. Destination management has a lower perceived value about the destination than a potential tourist, while for a potential tourist, the destination has a lower perceived value before the visit compared to the value it has for tourists after the visit.
