Abstract:Finančna tehnologija se nanaša na programsko opremo in druge sodobne tehnologije.

Title:The impact of FinTech companies on the banking sector
Abstract:Financial technology refers to software and other modern technologies. They are used by companies that provide automated and enhanced financial services. Rapid and innovative advances such as mobile payments have changed the way we manage our finances. We have encountered mobile or online payments, especially during the pandemic, whic means that we are damiliar with financial technology but were unaware of it. FinTech companies are flexible and fast when introducing new services based on changing requirements. In the future, financial technology products will become an integral part of our digitised lives. In this thesis, we will look in more detail at the history of FinTech itself and the services offered by FinTech companies. We will explore the impact of Covid-19 on the performance of companies, and examine the differences between FinTech and the banking sector. What are the positive and negative implications; how do studies look at the question of whether banks will be needed in the future; the arguments for why they will or will not be needed? From all the theoretical starting points, the final part will identify how a particular FinTech company and bank in Sweden operates. The financial indicators illustrated in the graphs show how one company is better than the other.
