Abstract:Uvod: Medicinske sestre so pri svojem delu izpostavljene visokim obremenitvam. Premeščanje težkih bremen in prisilne drže povzročajo poškodbe mišično skeletnega dela hrbtenice zlasti ledvenega, vratnega in križnega predela, kar povzroča bolečine in delavca onesposobi za delo.

Title:An ergonomics approach to the prevention of nurses' back pain
Abstract:Introduction: nurses are exposed ti high pressures in their work. Moving heavy loads and forced postures cause demage to the musculoskeletal part of the spine, particularly the lumbar, cervical and sacral spine, causing pain and incaoacitating the worker. Studies around the word show that low back pain is a serious problem among health professionals, as it incapacitates workers and causes longer absenteeism, but it also affects the quality of the work they do and their job satisfaction. Ergonomics has an important impact on the prevention of spinal pain in healthcare workers, as the consistent and correct ure of ergonomic aids prevents the development of spinal disorders and thus pain. Methods: a systematic literature review was used to develop the thesis. The literature was systematically reviewed and 14 articles werw included in the final analysis, 11 foreign and 3 Slovenian. Results: our analysis of the articles sonsluded that identififying risk factors and taking timley and comprehensive action to prevent the onset of back pain – by employees, the whole team and management, and prevention – is important to prevent the onset of back pain. It's important to understand the ergonomics of work organisation, and to rake care of your own well-being and fitness.
