Abstract:Namen magistrske naloge je bil razviti empirični model za določanje elasto-plastične deformacije kablov pri stiskanju navitij, do česar pride tekom proizvodnega procesa. Z njegovim razvojem in posledično z implementacijo smo izboljšali natančnost napovedi končne višine navitij že v času projektiranja, kar bo celoten proizvodni proces izboljšalo in pohitrilo.

Title:Development of an empirical model for determining elasto-plastic deformation of cables during compression
Abstract:The purpose of the master's thesis was to develop an empirical model for determining the elasto-plastic deformation of cables when windings are compressed, which occurs during the production process. The concepts described in the assignment are necessary for data analysis, such as correlation and approximation and the measurement process, which is used to obtain the necessary data for analysis. Data processing is described in detail, where it is converted from the input format into the format we need for further work. With the help of the processed data, we have developed a model, which was then compared against the previous model. We have measured the effect of the implementation of the new model in terms of time and added the monetary effect to the difference in time spent due to winding repairs. Our goal was to develop a new empirical model for predicting the deformation of windings, which will have a positive impact on the efficiency of the production process. With its development and subsequent implementation, we improved the accuracy of the prediction of the final height of the windings, already at the time of design, which will improve and speed up the entire production process.
