Abstract:Vsako podjetje je občutilo vpliv epidemije covid-19 in je bilo primorano prilagoditi vsakodnevne procese.

Title:The impact of covid-19 on the performance of road transport services by the selected company
Abstract:Every company felt the impact of the covid-19 epidemic and it was necessary to adapt daily processes. The transport sector also felt these changes. The selected company adapted the process of transporting its own products with the aim of protecting employees. The changes implemented by the selected company during the epidemic were reflected in maintaining social distance, non-contact, and disinfection. We used digitized documentation (e-waybill, e-CMR and digital signature), an ozonator for disinfecting the truck, and recorded the body temperature of employees. The presence of the driver during loading was prohibited. During the epidemic, companies increased the costs of transportation routes, by an average of 31%, and the times of these routes also increased. Since it is a company in an industry that was not closed during the epidemic, these costs did not represent a major burden. In case of similar situations, we recommend that the company carries out disinfection more efficiently and at the same time disinfects the truck and the loaded goods in a special parking lot. For the safety of the employee when loading, he should use an electronic wedge. The company should introduce a booking system for drivers and teach internal resources how to maintain equipment. In our view, the proposed measures would have a positive impact on the selected company.
