Abstract:Brezposelnost mladih je v današnjem času vse večji izziv.

Title:Youth entrepreneurship: challenges, attitudes and implications for policy
Abstract:Youth unemployment is a growing challenge nowadays. Many young people have completed a higher level of education, but still have problems finding a suitable job, as there is a shortage of jobs. One of the possible solutions to this phenomenon is the decision of young people for entrepreneurship. In the thesis, the content was divided into theoretical and empirical parts. In the theoretical part, we first presented or defined what youth entrepreneurship means, then we presented the challenges that young entrepreneurs face, according to GEM research, we defined the situation of young entrepreneurs, presented the success factors of young entrepreneurs, explained the role of education in youth entrepreneurship, and at the end of the theoretical part also presented political measures that would encourage youth entrepreneurship. In the empirical part, we presented the research I carried out for the purpose of this diploma thesis. In the concluding part, we confirmed or rejected the hypotheses raised in the introductory part. We can see that youth entrepreneurship is a very current topic about which there is so far not enough research and there are not enough debates in this area. In particular, we can highlight the area of entrepreneurship education for young people, which is significantly insufficient and should be included in all levels of education.
