Title:	Etični vidik delovanja podjetij v času vojne v Rusiji

Abstract:	Diplomsko delo podaja analizo etičnih vprašanj, s katerimi se soočajo podjetja, ki poslujejo v Rusiji med vojno in politično nestabilnostjo. Zgodovina odnosov med Rusijo in Ukrajino postavlja ozadje za razumevanje vzrokov in konteksta vojnega konflikta, kar vpliva na okoliščine, v katerih podjetja izvajajo svoje aktivnosti. Etičnost delovanja podjetij je povezana z vprašanji o varnosti zaposlenih, spoštovanju človekovih pravic, transparentnosti, skladnosti s pravnimi in regulativnimi zahtevami ter odgovornostjo do deležnikov.. V skladu s to tematiko je treba poudariti tudi problematiko uvedbe ekonomskih sankcij proti Rusiji ter kakšen vpliv imajo te na območje držav Evropske unije in tudi Rusije. Vpliv vojnih razmer in uvedenih sankcij na gospodarstvo lahko predstavlja dodatne izzive za podjetja, ki so prisotna na ruskih tleh, ter tistim podjetjem, ki so zaradi ruske agresije, zapustile njihov trg v znak protesta in nasprotovanja ruski agresiji. V diplomskem delu smo analizirali tudi primere podjetij, ki so se odločila zapustiti ruski trg v času vojne, ter tistih, ki so ostala. Glavni cilj diplomskega dela je poudariti pomembnost etičnega razmišljanja in odgovornega ravnanja podjetij v občutljivih političnih in gospodarskih razmerah ter opozoriti na vplive njihovih odločitev na družbo in okolje. Prav tako bo delo ponudilo razmislek o smernicah za bolj etično poslovanje podjetij v takšnih izrednih okoliščinah. Pomembne smernice, ki jih morajo podjetja v takšnih situacijah upoštevati, so varovanje človeških življenj, spoštovanje človekovih pravic, ohranjanje nepristranskosti, spoštovanje mednarodnih sankcij, ohranjanje ugleda, transparentnost in odgovornost, skrb za interes deležnikov itd. Podjetja so zapustila Rusijo zaradi gospodarske nestabilnosti, sprememb v zakonodaji, njihove lastne etične presoje ter geopolitičnih napetosti. Nekatera so ostala zaradi velikega trga, nekatera navajajo, da so ostala, saj jim ruski trg predstavlja vir preživetja, nekatera pa zato, ker nudijo prebivalstvu osnovne dobrine. Presoja o pravilni odločitvi v takšnem primeru je kompleksna in aktualna tematika, za katero bomo le v prihodnosti videli, katera odločitev je bila pravilna in kakšen vpliv bodo te odločitve dolgoročno imele na podjetja.

Title:	The ethics of doing business in the time of war in Russia
Abstract:	This thesis analyses the ethical issues faced by companies operating in Russia during war and political instability. The history of relations between Russia and Ukraine sets the background for understanding the causes and context of the military conflict, which has implications for the context in which companies conduct their activities. The ethicality of companies' operations is linked to issues of employee safety, respect for human rights, transparency, compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, and accountability to stakeholders.... In line with this theme, it is also necessary to highlight the issue of the imposition of economic sanctions against Russia and what impact these have on the territory of the countries of the European Union and also on Russia. The impact of the war situation and the sanctions imposed on the economy may pose additional challenges for companies present on Russian soil and for those companies that, as a result of the Russian aggression, have left their market in protest and opposition to the Russian aggression. The thesis also analysed the cases of companies that decided to leave the Russian market during the war and those that stayed. The main aim of the thesis is to highlight the importance of ethical thinking and responsible behaviour of companies in a sensitive political and economic situation and to draw attention to the impact of their decisions on society and the environment. It will also provide guidance on how to operate more ethically as a business in such emergencies. Important guidelines for companies to follow in such situations are the protection of human lives, respect for human rights, maintaining impartiality, respect for international sanctions, preserving reputation, transparency and accountability, looking after the interest of stakeholders, etc. Companies have left Russia because of economic instability, changing legislation, their own ethical judgement and geopolitical tensions. Some have stayed because of the large market, some state that they have stayed because the Russian market is their source of livelihood, and some because they provide basic amenities to the population. Judging the right decision in such a case is a complex and topical issue, for which we will only see in the future what the right decision was and what impact these decisions will have on companies in the long term.
