Title:A (subjective emotional) model of employee´s wellbeing in the company x
Abstract:Employees' subjective emotional well-being is a key factor in modern organisations, influencing their performance and sustainability. It is an overall sense of satisfaction, happiness and overall fulfilment in life that has direct implications for job performance, engagement and retention. In today's competitive business environment, there is a growing awareness that employee wellbeing has a positive impact on productivity, innovation and creating a positive working atmosphere. Research shows that employees who experience higher levels of subjective emotional well-being show higher levels of motivation, greater engagement, better stress tolerance and better interpersonal relationships. In the theoretical part of the thesis, we examined the basic concepts and research in the field of subjective emotional well-being and highlighted its importance for the performance of organisations. This was followed by an empirical part of the research to determine the current state of subjective emotional well-being of employees in company X. As part of this, we started with three hypotheses to find out whether employees at Company X are satisfied with their personal life, whether negative affect is higher than positive affect, and whether older employees at Company X have higher levels of subjective emotional well-being. Based on the data obtained, the current model of subjective emotional well-being in company X was created and then refined.
