Title:	Analysis of the use of HR information system modules in Jesenice General Hospital
Abstract:	If we see opportunities for improvement, then we are already well on our way to moving to the point, where small steps lead to visible and tangible results. This is also the common thread of the Master's thesis that lies ahead. We have analysed and compared the current use of HR information system modules, as they already have in General Hospital Jesenice, with the ten most common or the most general modules of HR information systems. We also showed the extent to which these modules are currently used, and how their use could be further improved or better utilized. The ultimate goal of this task is that all potential improvements that we have come to during the analysis and research, could actually be used as improvements in the Service for Organization and Personnel (hereinafter: SOP) in General Hospital Jesenice. The methods we used were the reading of professional literature, and above all the analysis of existing work methods in the work of the HR department in the hospital and comparison with general modules of HR information systems. The research part was partially completed by conducting an interview with the head of the SOK and subsequent analysis of the answers, as well as by observing and participating in the work process itself. In the first part of the assignment, we defined the term HR information system (hereafter: HRIS). We also summarized the development of HRIS throughout history up to the present day. We have shown the importance of KIS development in organizations and the foundation of the Slovenian legislation for the implementation of the system in the organization. The main chapters in this assignment are research and discussion with suggestions for improvement. In the research part, we presented HRIS KADRIS 4, which is used in the General Hospital Jesenice, furthermore we analysed individual modules used by the extent to which they actually use them. This was followed by a chapter with suggestions for improvements for those modules that they would like to use or they are already using them, but not fully. At the end of the assignment, we briefly presented the answers to the research questions posed at the beginning and main suggestions that we identified as possible improvements in the use of HRIS KADRIS 4.
