Abstract:V diplomskem delu bomo najprej predstavili opazovano problematiko ter teoretična izhodišča in pojme, povezane s tematiko dela. V diplomskem delu bomo predstavili trenutno stanje.

Title:A survey on the carbon footprint of employees of a retail organisation
Abstract:In this thesis, we will first present the observed issues and the theoretical background and concepts related to the topic of the thesis. Just as every individual faces a carbon footprint in their everyday life, so too does the employee within the organisation. Climate change and global warming are the two big issues of our time, and the whole world is against them. These have global implications for changing weather patterns, rising sea levels and increasing flood risks, and also threaten food production. We therefore decided to investigate the carbon footprint of employees in a retail organisation. The survey data will be presented below. More detailed analysis has shown that very few, if any, employees choose to calculate their carbon footprint themselves, even though they are aware of the importance of preserving the environment. At the same time, we have found that some individuals have already taken action to help reduce their own emissions. In this thesis, we will present the current situation. Among other things, we will give you some measures that employees can take to mitigate their impact on the environment.
