Abstract:Na živinorejskih kmetijah je prehrana živali zagotovo področje za iskanje možnosti učinkovitejšega gospodarjenja.

Title:Developing an optimizing model forcow meals mathematical programming
Abstract:On livestock farms, animal nutrition is certainly an area for searching for more efficient management options. Many researchers undertake research on the production of meadow forage from fields only from a technological point of view, but the findings are nevertheless also related to the economics of production. By using simulation models, software tools and appropriate methods, we help evaluate the economic feasibility of using technologies or decisions about them. When calculating feed rations, experts in the field of nutrition are interested in covering the needs of animals in relation to the intensity of production, while agricultural economists are interested in the cost aspect in relation to income. The topic of the thesis will be based on the use of mathematical models in the management of livestock farms, as we know that a large part of agriculture is dedicated to cattle breeding, especially milk production. In the diploma theses, we present an overview of the use of mathematical methods in animal husbandry and examples of their use for decision support and analysis in animal husbandry when calculating feed rations and evaluating economics.
