Title:Preventivne intervencije medicinske sestre pri otrocih z astmo

Abstract:Uvod: Najpogostejša otroška kronična bolezen je astma, ki večinoma poteka v blažjih oblikah in se obvlada v domačem okolju. Cilji zdravstvene obravnave pri astmatičnih otrocih so, da so brez simptomov, poslabšanj, imajo normalno pljučno funkcijo, sposobnost učenja in vključevanja k aktivnostim kot pri zdravem otroku. Preventivne intervencije medicinske sestre imajo pomembno vlogo pri urejanju in zdravljenju astme. Metode: Sistematično smo pregledali in predstavili analizo znanstvene literature s področja preventivnih intervencij medicinske sestre in obvladovanja astme pri otrocih. Rezultate smo iskali v naslednjih podatkovnih bazah: CINHAL, PubMed, Medline, SAGE in Web of Science. Potek iskanja izbora člankov smo predstavili v diagramu PRISMA, časovni okvir pa je bil do februarja 2022. Vključeni so bili raziskovalni članki v angleškem in slovenskem jeziku, vezani na tematiko in populacijo. Rezultati: V končno analizo smo vključili 7 raziskav, na podlagi katerih smo ugotovili, da vključenost medicinske sestre pozitivno vpliva na obvladovanje astme. Pripomore tudi k manjšim izostankom v šoli, manj urgentnih obravnav in doprinese k boljši kakovosti življenja otrok z astmo. Razprava in zaključek: Medicinske sestre zagotavljajo izvajanje aktualne prakse zdravstvene nege, bistvene učne korake, neprekinjeno oskrbo, izboljšanje zdravstvenih rezultatov in izidov astme pri otrocih. Otroci lahko prevzemajo precej odgovornosti za lasten doprinos k obvladovanju astme.

Title:Preventive interventions of nurses for children with asthma
Abstract:Introduction: Asthma is the most common chronic disease od childhood, mostly in milder forms and can be managed in the home environment. The goals of medical management, of asthmatic children are, for them to be free of symptoms, exacerbations, to have a normal lung function and the ability to learn and particape in activities as a healthy child can. Preventive interventions by nurses play an important role in the management and treatment of asthma. Methods: We systematically reviewed and presented an analysis of the scientific literature in the field of preventive nurse interventions and athma management in children. The results were searched in the following databases: CINAHL, PubMed, Medline, SAGE and Web of Science. The search flow of the selection of articles was presented in the PRISMA diagram. The time frame was up to February 2022. Reasearch articles were included in English or Slovenian language, related to the topic and population. Results: We analysed 7 studies and found that nurse involvement has a positive impact on asthma control. It also contributes to reduces school absenteeism, fewer emergency admissions and better quality of life for children with asthma. Discussion and conclusion: Nurses provide implementation of current nursing practice, essential learning steps, continuity of care, improved health results and improved asthma outcome in children. Children can take considerabe responsibilty for their own contribution to asthma management.
