Abstract:Uvod: Diagnostične radiološke preiskave kot so magnetna resonanca, ultrazvok, rentgen in računalniška tomografija imajo ključen pomen pri diagnosticiranju in spremljanju obolenj. Podatke smo analizirali in obdelali v računalniških programih Microsoft Excel in IBM SPSS 28.8. Največ informacij so pacienti s potekom preiskave prejeli s strani zdravstvenega osebja v centru.

Title:Patient satisfaction in a diagnostic radiology center
Abstract:Introduction: Diagnostic radiological examinations, such as magnetic resonance imaging, ultrasound, X-rays, and computed tomography are of key importance in the process of disease diagnosing and monitoring. Adequate psychophysical preparation of patients for diagnostic examinations by healthcare professionals and patient participation in the examinations affect the quality and optimal execution of the examinations, which is reflected in patient satisfaction. The purpose of the research was to investigate patient satisfaction in a diagnostic imaging center. Methods: A quantitative research methodology was employed. The data were collected by means of a survey questionnaire, completed by 351 patients who underwent examinations at the diagnostic imaging center. Microsoft Excel and IBM SPSS 28.8 computer software were used to analyze and process the data. Results: The interviewed patients were satisfied with the attitude of healthcare staff, including their friendliness, accessibility, and respect for patient privacy. As part of the entire process, they expressed satisfaction with the instructions received, respect for privacy, and the overall operation of the outpatient clinic. During the course of treatment, the patients obtained most of the information about the examination process from the healthcare staff at the center. Discussion and conclusion: Research findings indicate that, overall, the surveyed patients were largely satisfied with the treatment, from the organization of the outpatient clinic to the admission process, to their interaction with the healthcare staff and their explanations of the examination process.
