Abstract:Električni oblok je končna stopnja električnega preboja izolatorja med dvema električno prevodnima deloma pod napetostjo. Simulacijski model, izdelan v programskem paketu COMSOL Multiphysics, dopolnjuje analizo širjenja obloka in ob tem omogoča še nadaljnjo raziskavo in optimizacijo pojava in širjenja obloka med dvema električno prevodnima kontaktoma.

Title:Adjustment of the fuse switch disconnector STV D02 for operation in DC circuits and arc propagation simulation
Abstract:An electric arc is the final stage of electric breakdown o fan insulator that occurs between two electrically conductive parts under voltage. when the dielectric strength of the medium between them is breached, an electric connection is established. In protective switching devices electric arcs are encountered during switching operations, with the most critical situations occurring when interrupting direct current circuits. After the measurements of arc expansion during switching manipulations at ICEM, the arc expansion was analyzed by studying control parameters, which allows easier understanding of arc behavior under different conditions. The simulation model, developed in the COMSOL Multiphysics software complements the analysis of arc propagation and enables further investigation and optimization of the phenomenon of electric arc between two electrically conductive contacts.
Keywords:Electric arc, electrical contact, arc propagation analysis, simulation model of arc propagation, COMSOL Multiphysics.
