Literaturo smo poiskali z uporabo podatkovnih baz: PubMed, CINAHL, ScienceDirect in SAGE, pomagali smo si tudi z bazo COBISS in spletnim iskalnikom Google Scholar. Nosečnice so še posebej podvržene psihosocialni stiski ob postavljeni diagnozi raka. Vlogi medicinske sestre pri zdravljenju sta apliciranje kemoterapije in psihološka podpora pacientki z rakom.

Title:The effect of chemotherapy during pregnancy on fetal development
Abstract:Although cancer in pregnancy is a rare diagnosis, the frequency has been increasing in recent years as the age of pregnant women increases. The purpose of the thesis is to investigate the impact of the use of chemotherapy in a pregnant woman on the development of the fetus and to determine the role of the nurse during the medical treatment of a pregnant woman with cancer. We systematically reviewed the scientific literature on the effect of chemotherapy on the fetus in pregnant women. We searched the literature using the following databases: PubMed, CINAHL, ScienceDirect and SAGE, we also used the COBISS database and the Google Scholar. The flow of the search, review and selection of relevant literature was shown with a flowchart, as recommended by the PRISMA guidelines. Selected articles were critically evaluated by the Joanna Briggs Institute. We found a total of 1,371 hits in the databases, after removing duplicates and review, we included 12 articles in the final analysis that pointed out the topic of chemotherapy treatment in a pregnant woman with cancer and the role of the nurse in the treatment of a pregnant woman with cancer. We found that the application of chemotherapy in the first trimester is not recommended, as it leads to fetal malformations and premature birth, but after the first trimester the use of chemotherapy is in principle safe. The role of the nurse in the treatment is to apply chemotherapy and provide psychological support to the cancer patient.
