Title:	Analiza timskega dela slovenske moške košarkarske reprezentance v času svetovnega prvenstva 2023

Abstract:	Diplomsko delo se v prvi vrsti osredinja na potek in organizacijo pripravljalnih tekem slovenske moške košarkarske reprezentance pred svetovnim prvenstvom v košarki 2023 na Filipinih, Japonskem in v Indoneziji. V teoretičnem delu analiziramo timsko delo in ključne elemente, ki so potrebni za uspešno in homogeno delo ter uspeh ekipe. V empiričnem delu s pomočjo statističnih kazalnikov, stvarnih dognanj ter rezultatov kvalifikacij in priprav v odnosu na pretekle uspehe oziroma neuspehe košarkarske reprezentance analitično obravnavamo slabosti in dobre strani v organizaciji, zasnovi in v izvedbi organizacije tekmovalnega dela. Medtem ko v prvem delu empiričnega dela predstavimo predvsem praktično osnovo priprav v obliki kvalifikacijskih in pripravljalnih tekem, podkrepljeno s komentarjem vsakega sklopa, se v drugem delu osredinjamo na analizo organizacije priprav, v zaključku in deloma že vmes pa slabosti in prednosti teh priprav umestimo tudi v širši družbeni kontekst. Poleg tega ugotavljamo razmere v košarkarski reprezentanci s poudarkom na igri izjemnega posameznika kot kapetana in ključnega igralca tima ter analiziramo marketinške prijeme vodilnih v zvezi pred svetovnim prvenstvom, med njim in po njem. Ugotovili smo, da treba je v slovenski košarkarski reprezentanci še marsikaj postoriti v organizacijskem in strokovnem delu, vendar so odnosi v ekipi – med igralci in v strokovnem štabu – dobri, razumevanje in povezanost sta izjemna; tako je uspeh marsikdaj plod prave energije in zanosa.

Title:	Analysis of the team work of the slovenian men's national basketball team during the world cup 2023
Abstract:	The thesis focuses primarily on the preparation and organisation of the Slovenian Men's National Basketball Team's preparatory games before the 2023 World Basketball Championship in the Philippines, Japan and Indonesia. In the theoretical part we analyse teamwork and the key elements necessary for a successful and homogeneous teamwork and success. In the empirical part, the weaknesses and strengths in the organisation, design and execution of the competition organisation are analytically discussed with the help of statistical indicators, factual findings and the results of the qualification and preparation in relation to the past successes and failures of the basketball team. While in the first part of the empirical part of the thesis we present mainly the practical basis of the preparations in the form of qualification and preparation matches, supported by a commentary on each set. In the second part we focus on the analysis of the organisation of the preparations, and in the conclusion of the thesis and partly during the thesis itself we also place the weaknesses and strengths of these preparations in a broader societal context. In addition, we identify the situation of the national basketball team, with an emphasis on the play of an outstanding individual as captain and key player of the team, and analyse the marketing approaches of the leaders of the federation before, during and after the World Championship. We have found out that there is a lot to do in the Slovenian National Basketball Team, both in the organisational and professional work. However, the relationships within the team, both among the players and the professional staff, are good, the understanding and cohesion is outstanding and so success is often the result of the right energy and enthusiasm.
