Abstract:Uvod: Narava delovnih mest v zdravstveni negi se nenehno spreminja zaradi tehnološkega razvoja, družbenih značilnosti, potreb prebivalstva. Statistično obdelavo hipotez smo opravili s programom IBM SPSS, V22.0.

Title:Stressors in nursing in relation to job statisfaction
Abstract:Introduction: The nature of work in health care is constantly evolving due to technological advancements, societal characteristics, and population needs. Workplace stress jeopardizes employee satisfaction, their health, and the performance and efficiency of organizations. This master's thesis examined the job satisfaction of employees in health care at a primary healthcare institution, their experience of workplace stress, and the connection between work organization and job satisfaction. Methods: A quantitative research method was employed in this master's thesis. The research sample was non-random and purposive. The research instrument was a questionnaire, to which 98 health care employees in a primary health care institution responded. Statistical analysis of hypotheses was conducted using IBM SPSS, V22.0. Results: Respondents are satisfied with their work (M=3.6 ± 0.59), with the highest satisfaction related to working hours (M=4.11 ± 0.82) and the lowest with salary (M=2.91 ± 1.00). Their experience of workplace stress is moderately present (M=2.90 ± 0.65), with the most stress attributed to the information communication system (M=3.44 ± 0.90). We found a correlation between work organization and job satisfaction (p=0.000). Discussion and Conclusion: Research findings indicate that poor work organization in health care is associated with job satisfaction. Respondents who assessed a higher presence of poor work organization were less satisfied. Monitoring and evaluating employee satisfaction and stress factors in health care organizations is advisable.
